Founded in 1990, Antartide is a textile atelier based in Como, at the heart of one of the world’s most renowned silk districts. For over thirty years, we have been developing and producing high-end ties, scarves and refined textile accessories in-house, crafted with artisanal care and a strong focus on the quality of materials and workmanship. Thanks to an approach rooted in technical expertise, production flexibility and service, Antartide has established itself in the high-end international market, exporting the vast majority of its production and collaborating with brands and clients who value reliability, balance and stylistic coherence. Our work is driven by continuous dialogue with our clients: listening, consultancy and bespoke development are integral parts of the process, with the aim of turning each project into a product designed to last over time.

Our company

Antartide S.r.l. is a textile atelier based in Como, founded in 1990, specializing in the development and production of high-end ties, scarves, pocket squares and refined textile accessories, entirely made in Italy.

The company operates within the Como silk district, collaborating with historic weaving mills and manufacturers, and combines technical expertise, artisanal care and production flexibility, offering both ready-to-ship solutions and dedicated or private label projects.

Antartide works primarily with silk (jacquard and printed), silk–wool blends and other noble fibres, overseeing every stage of the process: from material selection and design development to final manufacturing.
Its approach is strongly consultancy-oriented, supporting clients in defining products that are coherent with their identity and the requirements of their target markets.

Thanks to a reliable service and accessible minimum quantities, Antartide collaborates with brands, boutiques, tailors and institutional clients in Italy and abroad, exporting most of its production.
Each project is born from attentive listening and developed with balance, respecting Italian manufacturing tradition and a contemporary vision of the product.

Our products

 Antartide develops and produces high-end textile accessories, entirely made in Italy within the Como silk district, following an approach that combines manufacturing tradition, technical expertise and contemporary sensibility.

Ties

Classic and contemporary ties crafted in jacquard silk, printed silk and silk–wool blends, available in different constructions (classic, three-fold, six-fold).
Special attention is given to proportions, interlinings and knot balance, ensuring elegance, durability and long-lasting wearability.

Scarves and Pocket Squares

Scarves and pocket squares in silk and noble fibres, developed both as continuous collections and as dedicated capsules or private label projects.
Designs range from classic patterns to more essential and contemporary interpretations, with a strong focus on colour rendering and fabric hand.

Scarves and Coordinated Accessories

Scarves and small accessories in silk–wool and selected materials, conceived to complement both menswear and womenswear collections with refined, versatile products aligned with the identity of partner brands.

Custom Development & Private Label

Antartide supports clients in the development of bespoke projects, offering consultancy in material selection, production techniques and finishing details, with accessible minimum quantities and a flexible service suitable for both established brands and emerging labels.

Each product is born from attentive listening and designed to last, respecting Made in Italy quality and a sober, essential vision of luxury.
